JUVÉDERM® is an injectable gel for injection into areas of facial tissue where moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds occur to temporarily add volume to the skin, especially around the nose and mouth. The main ingredient in JUVÉDERM®, Hyaluronic acid (HA), is a naturally occurring component of your skin. As you age, you start to lose HA, which causes the skin to lose structure and volume, contributing to the formation of wrinkles and folds. JUVÉDERM® helps to temporarily reverses this aging process and bring out younger and fuller skin. Unlike many other products, the product is non-animal sourced.
Juvéderm® treatment is a non-surgical technique we use at our location in Schaumburg, IL to help fill in facial wrinkles on patients. This provides a smoother facial appearance while consisting of compounds the body can absorb over time. However, the effects will last a few weeks or a month before the patient needs another injection.
